Ethnic violence or even ethnic terrorist actrefers to violence that is dominantly motivated by causes & issues related to ethnicity. Ethnic violence is related to political violence, and typically the terms come interchangeable inside a local context in which information to ethnicity is considered minimum or even improper.

"Racist terrorism" is a form of ethnic violence which is usually dominated by open forms of racism and xenophobic reactionism. This form usually involves attacks in immigrant minorities, and hang on to an association by using right-wing extremist

Racial supremacist groups such as Neo-Nazis often dominate the perception of an ethnic terrorist, though more violent actors associated using ethnic supremacism qualify.
